If your listing's not working hard, then it's hardly working (in our opinion). There could be several reasons. Some are fixable and some are not.
- Does your listing have a picture? Listings without any pictures get far fewer inquiries than ones with them.
- Are your pictures of decent quality and well-composed? A bad picture can almost be as bad as no picture at all. Sorry, it's true. Check out the lighting, focus, image size, etc. And check out our article, Super pictures for your Property.
- Is your description.....well....descriptive enough? Is your description too short? We allow a whopping 5,000 characters for your description. There is a lot that makes your rental property great - just put it in words.
- What is your availability? A property that is available for five weeks of the year (like a timeshare) will get fewer inquiries than one that rents most of the year.
- Is it a time when vacationers are interested in your area? A Phoenix property in August won't garner the interest that it does in March, for example.
